HiPacked™ Q AEX columns are prepacked strong anion exchange chromatography columns filled with a positively charged resin that attracts negatively charged macromolecules from samples. For example, a protein or antibody becomes negatively charged when the buffer pH is above its isoelectric point. They are ideal for high-capacity purification of proteins, nucleic acids, and other negatively charged biomolecules. The resin is a cross-linked agarose matrix with quaternary ammonium -N(CH3)3+ (Q) groups, offering high flow rates, strong binding, and excellent chemical stability. Packed with High Performance Q resin, they are ideal for capture and intermediate purification in research and process development. Each 1 and 5 mL column has a 1/16″ Fingertight female top and male bottom, fitting securely into a UV cell with a 1/16″ female port. The 20 mL column features 1/16″ Fingertight female connectors on both ends. They are fully compatible with GE ÄKTA systems—Prime, Explorer, Start, Go, Pure, and Avant—as well as other FPLC platforms. Ideal for academic and biopharmaceutical applications, HiPacked™ Q AEX columns provide reliable, high-purity purification with reproducible results on a small scale.
