DMEM (Dulbecco's Modified Eagle Medium) with high glucose is a widely-used cell culture medium optimized for cultivating mammalian cells, especially in applications requiring enhanced glucose concentrations. DMEM High Sugar Components – 1 Liter Preparation (see formulation):

• Glucose: 4.5 g/L
• L-glutamine: Included for optimal cell viability.

• Sodium Bicarbonate: Excluded in the pouch (requires addition during preparation).

Preparation Instructions:

1. Add a pouch of DMEM High Sugar powder to 900 ml of deionized water in a container.
2. Add 3.7 g of sodium bicarbonate to the container.
3. Mix thoroughly using a magnetic stirrer until the powder is completely dissolved.
4. Adjust the pH to 7.2–7.4 if necessary.
5. Add deionized water to bring the total volume to 1 liter.
6. Sterilize the solution by filtration.
