The current challenge lies in balancing transparency with health equity—communicating the lasting impact of COVID-19 truthfully, without fueling unnecessary fear. Ultimately, this tension highlights not only an ongoing medical crisis but also deep societal fractures in how chronic post-viral illnesses are perceived and discussed.
